Applying Store Hour Sign Vinyl Lettering  

 

NOTE: DO NOT CLEAN WINDOW WITH WINDEX OR 409.

 

Step A

Apply Window Cleaner or Soapy water to clean the surface where the lettering will be placed. Use clean dry cloth to wipe the surface dry. Draw a vertical centerline and a horizontal guideline in the area where the letters will be placed.

 

Step B

Use tape to hold the vinyl up. With the lettering face down, carefully peel the backing paper away from the transfer tape that holds the lettering using your guidelines to position them correctly.

 

Step C

Lightly ”squeegee“ the lettering to force air bubbles from beneath them. And then, ”squeegee“ more firmly to make sure the letters adhere to the surface.

 

Step D

Gently peel the transfer tape away, leaving the letters in place.
